A wall is 15 ft. high and 10 ft. from a house.

Find the length of the shortest ladder which

will just touch the top of the wall and reach a

window 20.35 ft. above the ground.

    H²=b²+h²

    =10²+5.35²

    =128.6225

    H=√128.6225

    =11.35 ft.
