What is the common denominator 2 1/3+1/2?

    Six. 2 1/3=7/3-> to get to have a denominator of 6 multiply by 2 to get 14/6

    Then 1/2=3/6

    14/6 + 3/6 = 17/6

    17/6 = 2 5/6
