Write an equation: 1) the sum of an integer and the next consecutive integer is 37. what is the integer? 2) the product of a whole number and the next consecutive whole number is 30. what is the number? 3) the total value, in cents, of d=dimes and five times as many nickels, is 105 cents. how many dimes and nickels are there? 4) the width of a rectangle is w, and its length is 5cm less than its width. the perimeter of the rectangle is 66cm. what is the rectangles width? length?

    Ok, so the question is asking for equations so I won't solve them

    consecutive integers are 1 apart

    1. (n) + (n+1) = 37, integer is 18

    2. n (n+1) = 30, integer is 5

    3. 10d+5 (5d) = 105, 3 dimes and 15 nickles

    4. 66=2 (w+w-5), w=19, l=14
