The coordinates of 4 vertices of a square are (1,-2), (5, - 2), (5,2) and (1,2) what is the area of the square?

    The distance from 1 on the x axis to 5 on the x axis is 4 units, so length is 4 the distance from - 2 to 2 is 4, so the height is 4 to find the area, you use length * height so 4*4 which is 16
