Out of the first 15 serves in a volleyball game, 0.6 of them were in bounds. How many of them were not in bounds?

    6 serves were not in bounds.

    .6=3/5

    3/5=9/15

    15-9=6

    The answer is 6 because 60 percent went in which is 9. the other 40 percent is 6
