If the value of x is negative what must be true about 10 - x explain

    If the value of x is negative, then 10 - x will be a positive answer greater then 10

    for example : ... if x = - 2

    10 - (-2) = 10 + 2 = 12

    when u have 2 negatives multiplied by each other, it becomes positive ... so ur actually adding

    If the value of x is negative, then the quantity - x is positive, and

    10-x will be greater than 10.
