when you subtract one negative integer form another will your answer be greater than or less than the integer you started with? explain and give and example

    Keep Change Flip

    for example, lets use (-7) - (-8)

    Keep the first symbol (-7) - (-8)

    Change the next symbol (-7) + (-8)

    Flip the last symbol (-7) + (+8)

    Since 8 is larger than 7, subtract 7 from 8 (it equals 1)

    Keep the symbol of the the larger number (+)

    the answer is + 1

    Now, the answer will be greater than.
