    a) 1/2 of 1/5 of 15 = 2 m^2

    b) 2/15

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the total area of playground be 15 m^2

    [because 15 is multiple of 3 and 5 both].

    therefore, area playground is designed for young children = 1/3 of 15 = 5 m^2

    area of the play structure = 2/5 of 5 = 2m^2

    or = 1/2 of 1/5 of 15 = 2 m^2

    b) fraction of the total playground is the play structure = area of play structrure / area of total ground.

    = 2/15
