You can use the following equation - b/2a to find the x-coordinate of the parabola's vertex. After finding the x-coordinate, simply plug the value of - b/2a into the equation f (x) = 1x^2 - 8x + 6 to find the y-coordinate of the vertex. The answer is (4, - 10).
