Mrs. Seipel is baking 2 1/2 dozen cookies to share with five friends and herself. How many cookies can Mrs. seipel and each friend have?

    There are 12 cookies in a dozen. there is 2 full dozens, which is 24. and half a dozen is 6. 24+6=30, there is 6 people in total including mrs. Seipel. 30 divided by 6 = 5
