To find the unit price of each bag, divide each cost by the weight to find the cost of shrimp per pound.

For the 2.12 pound bag: 14.75 / 2.12 = $6.96 (rounded to the nearest cent)

For the 3.77 pound bag: 24.99 / 3.77 = $6.63 (rounded to the nearest cent)

You can tell that buying the 3.77 pound bag is better based on the unit price because of 6.63 < 6.96.

    2.12 pound = $14.75

    1 pound = $14.75 : 2.12 = $6.96

    3.77 pound = $24.99

    1 pound = $24.99 : 3.77 = $6.63

The store that Salma visited on the second week has a better price.
