    Solve each

    3x+5≤-1

    minus 5 both sides

    3x≤-6

    divide 3

    x≤-2

    other

    -2x-7≥5

    add 7 to both sides

    -2x≥12

divide both sides by - 2 and flip sign

    x≤-6

    we got

    x≤-2 or x≤-6

so since x≤-6 is actually inside the solution set of x≤-2, just shade from x≤-2

put dot at x=-2 and shade to left
