The perimeter of a rectangle is 400 feet and the length of the rectangle is 3 times the width. find the dimensions of the rectangle

    Width: x

    Length: 3x

    Perimeter=x+x+3x+3x=8x

    8x=400

    x=50

    Dimension is 150*50 feet (length * width)
