If f (x) = - 3x + 4 and g (x) = 2, solve for the value of x for which f (x) = g (x) is true.

    F (x) = - 3x + 4

    g (x) = 2

    To get f (x) = g (x)

    -3x + 4 = 2

    -3x = 2-4

    -3x = - 2

    x = (-2/-3)

    x = 2/3
