What is the value of x in y = - 6x+18 and y = 3/2x-7

    1) y = - 6x + 18

    y - 18 = - 6x

    y - 18 : - 6 = x

    y + 3 = x

    2) y = 3/2x - 7

    y + 7 = 3/2x

    y + 7 * 2/3 = x

    y + 14/3 = x
