The length of a rectangle is three times its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 64 cm, what is the area?

    before area, we need to calculate length & width

    let, width = x

    length = 3x

    so, 64 = 2 (3x+x)

    8x = 64

    x = 8 (width)

    3x = 24 (length)

    So, area would be: 24 * 8 = 192 cm²
