The cylinder above has a radius of 6 inches and a height of 12 inches. What is the surface area of the cylinder? (3.14)

    Surface Area = (2 • π • r²) + (2 • π • r • height)

    Surface Area = (2 * PI * 6^2) + (2 * PI * 6 * 12)

    Surface Area = (72 * PI) + (144 * PI)

    Surface Area = 216 * PI

    Surface Area = 678.584
