If you do the distributed property:
8 times 3x and 8 times - 2 & 4 times 2x and 4 times 5 you'll get 24x-16-8x+20. Then you add 16 and 20 together to be left with 24x-8x+36. Subtracting 24x-8x since they have the same variable will give you the final answer of 16x+36.
