Jose is planning a 2-day nonstop Independence Day tribute on his radio show. If each person can give a 4-minute tribute, how many tributes can Jose play?

    To answer this item, we simply have to use the proper conversion factors and dimensional analysis.

    Note that in a day, there are 24 hours which has 60 minutes in it each. Calculating for the total number of minutes.

    number of minutes = (2 days) (24 hour/day) (60 minutes/hour)

    number of minutes = 2880 minutes

    Then, divide the answer by the duration of each tribute

    number of tributes = (2880 minutes) / (4 minutes/tribute)

    number of tributes = 720 tributes

    Hence, the answer is 720 tributes
