You recently started wearing a device to track how many steps you take in a day. You estimated that you would take 7,500 steps in a day. You actually took 12,500 steps. Calculate the percent error

    The answer is 40% since you would do the accepted value which is 12,500 minus the experimental value which is 7,500. Then divide that answer by the accepted value which is 12,500. Then you multiple the number by 100 to get the answer.
