    We need approximately 201 ft of fencing

    Step-by-step explanation:

    We need to find the circumference of the pool plus the fence

    C = 2*pi * r where r is the radius of the pool and the fence

    r = 28 + 4 = 32

    C = 2 * pi * (32)

    C = 64 pi

    Letting pi = 3.14

    C = 64*3.14

    C = 200.96 ft

    Rounding to the nearest foot

    We need approximately 201 ft of fencing

    201 feet

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given:

    radius=28 ft

    path = 4 ft

    radius + path = 28+4

    =32

    Circumference of circle = 2πr

    c = 2 * π * 32

    = 200.9

    =201!

    201 feet of fencing are needed to go around the pool path!
