    1st equation: 6m + 5v = 56

    2nd equation: 2m + 3v = 26

    multiply 2nd eq. by 3

    3rd equation = 6m + 9v = 78

    subtract 1st from 3rd: 4v = 22

    v = 22/4 = 5.5 so videos cost 5.50 each

    now use 1st eq. to solve for m:

    6m + 5 (5.50) = 56 =

    6m + 27.50 = 56=

    6m = 28.5

    m = 28.5/6 = 4.75 each movie

    video cost 5.50

    movie cost 4.75
