Does the equation 1/2 (1+4x) = 2x-3 have infinite many solutions

    Step 2) cancel equal terms on both sides of the equation

    Step 3) The statement is false for any value of X (you would end up with 1=-6)

    Therefore the statement all real numbers meaning the equation will have infinite solutions.
