    7 red marbles

    Step-by-step explanation:

    P (red) = red marbles / total marbles = 1/8

We know there are 56 marbles

    red marbles/56 = 1/8

    Multiply by 56

    red marbles = 1/8 * 56 = 7

    There are 7 red marbles
