    We substitute x = y-3 to y = 2x-3

    therefore:

    y = 2 (y-3) - 3

    y = 2y - 6 - 3

    y-2y = - 9

    -3y = - 9

    y = 3

    then we find x

    x = y-3

    = 3-3

    x = 0
