    Looking through the solution he made. The second step seem to be erroneous. Clarence did not subtract 15 on the right side. It should be done as follows:

    3x + 15 = 33

    3x + 15 - 15 = 33 - 15

    3x = 18

    x = 6

    Therefore, from the choices the correct answer is the second option, x should be 6.
