3x+5y=4, 2x-y=-7 solve using substitution

    3x+5y=4 ... (1)

    2x-y=-7 ... (2)

    by (2) : y = 2x+7

    subsct in (1):

    3x + 5 (2x+7) = 4

    13x = - 31

    x = - 31/13

    y = 2 (-31/13) + 7 = 29/13
