In a rectangle shape walking path, one side form 180 mts and other side is unknown. Instead the diagonal way is given as 200 mts to enter a basketball court, this forms a right angled triangle, which divides as two halves of a rectangle; applying pythagoras theorem 180^2 + x^2 = 200^2; where x is the unknown side therefore x^2 = 200^2 - 180^2; therefore x = 87.2mts Ans : - the unknown distance is 87.2mts
