You eat 3/10 of a pack of hotdogs. Your friend eats 1/5 of the pack of hot dogs. What fraction of the pack of hot dogs do you and your friend eat?

    1/2. This is because you have to make the denominators the same. You multiply the 5 by 2 to get 10. Then you also have to multiply the 1 by 2 as well. Then ends up being 2/10. Next you just add the to fractions together which is 5/10 and you simplify to 1/2.
