The measure of a central angle YCZ is 80 degrees. What is the sum of the areas of the two shadded sectors?

    I found the figure of this problem.

    Given:

    central angle = 80°

    radius = 9

    area of a circle = π r² = 3.14 * 9² = 254.34 sq. units

    shaded area: 80° x 2 = 160°

    254.34 * 160/360 = 113.04 square units.

    The sum of the areas of the two shaded sectors is 113.04 square units.
