    The tennis court for singles play has an area of

    Area = 78 * 27

    Area = 2106 ft^2

    The tennis court for doubles play has an area of

    Area = 78 * (27 + 9)

    Area = 78 * 36

    Area = 2808 ft^2

    = 2808 - 2106

    = 702 ft^2

    (A) So, the doubles play court covered 702 ft^2 more area.

    The tennis court for players 8 - under has an area of

    Area = 36 * 18

    Area = 648 ft^2

    = 2106 - 648

    = 702 ft^2

    (B) So, the single play court covered 1458 ft^2 more area.

    The tennis court for 10 players has an area of

    Area = (78 - 18) * 27

    Area = 60 * 27

    Area = 1620 ft^2

    = 2106 - 1620

    = 486 ft^2

    (C) So, the singles play court covered 486 ft^2 more area.
