Michael worked 10 hours and earned $175 constructing fencing. If he averages 8 yards per hour, how much is he paid for each yard of fencing?

    So, $175 is the total of 10 hours of his work. We have to divide the 175 to 10 so that we can get his hourly wage. 175 divided by 10 is 17.5. Multiply the 17.5 to 8 hours, its $140
