Michael and Angela each have a collection of candy. Michael tells Angela, "If you give me one piece of candy, then we'll have the same number." Angela replies, "But if you give me one piece, then I'll have twice as many as you." How many pieces of candy do Michael and Angela have?

    Micheal would have 5 pieces of candy and Angela would have 7 pieces of candy.

    If you give Michael a piece of Angela’s candy they would both have 6 candies each

    If you give one of Micheals candy to Angela, Micheal would be left with 4 pieces of candy and Angela would have 8, and 4 times 2 is 8
