In gym class, Jared climbed 10 feet 4 inches up a rope. Then, he continued to climb up another 3 feet 9 inches. How high did Jared climb?

    First, you convert 10 feet to inches, making it 120 inches, add that to 4 making it 124 inches.

    Do that to the other side making it 45 inches.

    Add those together to get 165 inches.

    Or, 13 feet, 9 inches.
