    Factor 3 out of the exponents:

    (2^1/2) ^3

    Now multiply the exponents: 1/2 * 3 = 3/2

    Now you have 2^ (3/2)

    Convert to a radical:

    √ (2^3)

    Raise 2 to the 3rd power:

    √8
