    3n = 11+2 (n+2) n = lesser number

    3n = 11+2n+4. (n+2) = greater number

    3n = 15+2n

    3n-2n=15

    n=15

    15*3 = 11 + ((15+2) * 2)

    the numbers are 15 and 17
