First, you have to find out how many inches are in 3 yards 1 foot. So, each yard has 3 feet, and since there are 3 yards, you do 3x3=9. Then, you have to add 1 more foot to the 9, so you get 10. Each foot has 12 inches, so in 10 feet, there are 120 inches, because 12x10=120. So, 3 yards 1 foot has 120 inches, compare that to 100 inches. Which one has more?

    100 inches are greater.

    3 feet=1 yard

    3 yard and 1 feet=4 feet

    1 foot=12 inches

    4 feet=48 inches

    So, 100 inches > 48 inches
