    Hello:

    6w²-11w-35

    Δ = b²-4ac a = 6 b = - 11 c = - 35

    Δ = (-11) ² - 4 (6) (-35) = 121 + 840 = 961=31²

    w1 = (11-31) / 12 = - 20/12 = - 5/3

    w2 = (11+31) / 12 = 42/12 = 7/2

    6w²-11w-35 = 6 (w-w1) (w-w2) = 6 (w+5/3) (w-7/2)

    = 1/2 (6w+10) (2w-7)

    6w²-11w-35 = (3w+5) (2w-7)

    6w^2 - 21w + 10w - 35

    3w (2w - 7) + 5 (2w - 7)

    (3w + 5) (2w - 7)

    This is the factorised form.
