    There will be 126 people selected to participate on Saturday.

    We set up a proportion to solve this:

    90/500 = x/700

    Cross multiply:

    90*700 = 500*x

    63000 = 500x

    Divide both sides by 500:

    63000/500 = 500x/500

    126 = x
