A right square pyramid has a height of 4" and a base of 6" and a slant height twice the pyramids height. What is the volume of the pyramid?

    The volume of the Pyramid is given by:

    V=1/3 (base area*height)

    base area=length*width

    base area=6*6=36 in²

    height=4 inches

    hence

    V=1/3*4*36=48 in³
