Davette wants to buy flannel sheets. She reads that a weight of at least 190 grams per square meter is considered high quality. Davette finds a sheet that has weight of 920 grams for 5 square meters. Does this satisfy the the requirement for high-quality sheets? If not, what should the weight be for 5 square meters? Explain.

    We can divide 920 by 5 to determine the amount of grams per square meter.

    920/5=184, which is less than 190. Therefore, this sheet is not high quality.

    For a 5 square meter sheet to be high quality, the sheet must weigh at least 5*190=950 grams.
