Given the numbers 52 and 35, how much would you need to add to the smaller number to make it even with the larger number?

    You would add 17 because if you subtract 52-35 the sum is 17. If I'm understanding the problem, that's correct.

    You take the larger number which is 52 an subtract the smallest number which is 35 an you will get the answer of how to make the smaller number even with the larger number so ...

    52-35=17

    35+17=52

    So you would need to add 17 to the smaller number to make it even to the larger number
