Well first multiply 15 by 5 which is 75 then multiply 10 and 4 which is 40 then add them which is 115 so he spent 115 dollars

    So your equation isn't difficult.

    5 shirts that cost $15

    5 * 15 = $75 for all 5 shirts.

4 pairs of pants he spent $10

    4 * 10 = $40

    Now add both together.

    $75+$40 = $115

    In total Marion spent:

    $115
