Can a function hit x twice

    No,. For example, (1,3), (2,4) and (1,5) couldn’t be a function, because the x intercept, or the 1, repeats.

    However, the "y’s" can repeat. (1,4), (2,3), and (5,4) is a function, even though the y’s, of 4’s, repeat.
