The answer is 5 more people can board the raft.

    Step-by-step explanation:

If the raft can hold 8 people and there are 2 passengers and 1 guide already on board, and since 2 + 1 = 3, and 8 - 3 = 5, then that means that there is enough room in the raft for 5 more people.
