    20 cookies left

    Step-by-step explanation:

Henry had 30 cookies but ate 1/3 of them as they came out.

    He now has (30 * 1/3 = 30/3 = 10) 30-10 = 20 cookies left

    He makes 20 more cookies.

    He now has 20 + 20 = 40 cookies.

    He sold half of them. He now has (40 * 1/2 = 40/2 = 20) 40 - 20 = 20 cookies left.
