If a line with a slope of 4 crosses the y-axis at (0, 1), what is the equation of the line? y - 4x = 1 y + 4x = 1 x - 4y = 1 x + 4y = 1

    The answer is y - 4x = 1

    the simplest thing to do is make it into y = mx + b

    this equation will become y = 4x + 1

    and when you graph it the y axis will 1 or (0,1)
