basically its half of 7,000. This is because 1 whole times 7,000 is 7,000 and 0.5 is half of 1 so its therefore half of 7,000
so the answer is 3,500

Since 0.5 is equal to 1/2, you can multiply 7000 by 1/2 giving you 4,500
