If a product twice a number decreased by five and five times a number increased by seven is zero; find the numbers.

    (2x-5) (5x+7) = 0

    x=5/2 and x=-7/5 these are the 2 numbers

    Answer 5/2 and - 7/5

    Product P = (2x1-5) (5x2+7) = 0

    Solving the binomials, we get

    x1=5/2 and x2 = - 7/5
