Using the distributive property, show how to decompose 8 * 78

    78 = 70+8

    so this means

    8*78 = 8 * (70+8) = 8*70 + 8*8 = 560 + 64 = 624

    The distributive property in general is:

    a * (b+c) = a*b+a*c

    where in this case, a = 8, b = 70 and c = 8
